Audience
The Sun newspaper has a target audience of males aged 18-30 working class. The reason the target audience would be to the working class is because it is a tabloid newspaper which is stereotypically targeted to the working class as it is a more informal newspaper and uses language in a way which is informal. Also its price is lower than middlebrow and broadsheet and the language used in these two newspaper is suited to people of a higher intelligence. This newspaper would be targeted to males because the front cover is about football. Stereotypically football is a sport that appeals mostly to men and by having a full page of Moyes after he has been sacked from Manchester United shows that this was massive news and that a lot of people will be interested about it. The newspaper also targets people 18-30. This is the target audience for all The Sun newspapers because this type of newspaper has the type of stuff that people in this age range would want to see. For example things to do with clubbing and football which suit this type of audience as that is what they are into at this age.
The target audience for this is people aged 11-20 females.
Show me- The language that is used is quite powerful to the audience as it is very catchy and is easy for the audience to remember as it rhymes and is something which is often associated with waxing males hairs which links to the target audience which is males. The word 'exclusive' is a powerful word as it says to the audience that this is something that is only in this paper and not any others which means that people are likely to buy this paper if they are interested in the background behind the sacking of David Moyes.
